re:structure re:design Competition Announced!

The Newest, Most Exciting event to hit the North Olympic Peninsula and YOU can be part of it!
This event will exceed your wildest dreams about advertising opportunities.
Karen Nordstrom, Account Executive with Comcast Spotlight the Ad Sales division of Comcast, along with Expo Chair Kim Beus and Executive Officer FaLeana Wech have put together the first of its kind program inspired by the “Design Star” competition seen on cable network HGTV.
Open to all NPBA and Built Green of Clallam County members in good standing, the re:Structure-re:Design program reaches out to those who like challenges and are creatively competitive.
This competition will push your creative talents to the limits, test your ability to work under pressure, raise your team management abilities to the max, push mentally and physically and finally, judge whether you can complete a project within 24 hours while being filmed for the media! Does this peak your curiosity?
Here’s what you need to do:
1. Get yourself a team of 3; can be any member of NPBA or Built Green Clallam County; give your team a name. Read the rules found on the registration form working with your team to put together a Design Binder on your plans to complete an 8′ x 12′ structure.
2. Fill out the re:Structure-re:Design registration form and return to NPBA by December 1 along with your Design Binder and $150 entry fee.
Entrant’s Design Binders will be on display at the December 9 Holiday Gala. From there they will be on display at various member locations throughout Clallam County. Judges will gather and select 3 finalists who will move on to the on-site competition during Expo March 12 and 13.
There the 3 teams along with a student team will be given their structure to finish… within a 24 hour time frame that starts at 9 AM on Saturday March 12 and ends Sunday March 13 at 8:59 AM. Filming will capture the artists at work and a professional photographer will be on site as well.
